We are thrilled to announce New Farm’s brand new community choir, Merthyr Melodies!
We are a new group under the auspices of Merthyr Road Uniting Church, who are especially welcome people living with dementia and their care partners to share the fun and benefits of singing together in an inclusive, dementia-friendly community. You do not have to have musical skills, just come along and join in the fun!
Where: Merthyr Road Uniting Church, 52 Merthyr Road, New Farm 4005.
When: Sessions are Thursday mornings 10-11AM (morning tea from 9:30AM)
No sessions during school holidays.

Performances
Merthyr Melodies were thrilled to have their first public performance at Palliative Care Qld’s Good Life Good Death Expo on Saturday 19th September.
They were well received and enjoyed having a chance to spread joy to the New Farm community.
One listener wrote to the facilitators:
